SERVICE: Great service today. Smiles all around and quick delivery of a hot platter of nachos to my table. I even got checked on and asked if I needed anything. Just a better than average experience so good marks here!

AMBIENCE: This place is nothing special. I do like the fact they are never that busy and the visual menu is a plus but it could be any taqueria in any city. The people are nice and guests tend to be friendly too so that adds a bit. Still, this really is only average.

APPEARANCE: If I had tossed on some chunky salsa and got the guacamole it would have looked better. That said I was pleased with the glistening cheese and specks of meat on top of the golden chips. A good portion too, just right.

TASTE: Some taquerias just know how to season and cook their meats to bring out the flavor and this place is one of the better ones in this area. The meat is top notch, as is the cheese and beans. The chips again are really good, they made the full trip to the bottom of the platter and you will see very little as far as a bubble on the bottom. Did I mention that the green sauce is something special too?!

VALUE: At $6.95 this is the best value to date. As always I take into consideration the taste (very good) and the portion (better than average) to give a final score. I would give it a 9 if I could not finish the platter.
