My perfect day is out and about in San Francisco doing Street Photography. I have been an active photographer for the better part of my life, AND loved nachos for the same period, they go hand and hand. On this day I decided to wait in line (a good 15min) to get some nachos that were on my bucket list. Even better, it was a sunny day and they did not disappoint. Señor Sisig has been on the food radar of many including Guy Fieri so if you have not given them a shot please do. Tip for tourists: They have a truck by the Cable Car turnaround on Market Street just down from Union Square every now and then.
Ok, so here I go again with another chain restaurant breaking my rules. Well this time I have a reason. Recently I saw a review of the best and worst chain nachos. So I am going to try and match that review as best I can to see if they are as good as the Hunter in reviewing nachos.
As you can guess, eating your way through the Mission in San Francisco be it nachos, burritos or any of the new fancy restaurants can be a lifetime quest. I am starting with a place I know and will continue the hunt as long as I can. This week's selection was solid, not a top ranking one but the bar is high. Would I go back, yes I would and make sure I ask for extra chips and no carrots. Special shout out to nachonomics, you can check them out here www.nachonomics.com you will see me sporting their tee shirt.
